Last updated: August 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to travel enquiries, quotations, bookings and travel services arranged by Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa.
By confirming a booking with Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
2. Bookings
A booking is considered confirmed once Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa has received the required deposit or payment and has confirmed the booking in writing.
Availability of accommodation, transport, activities and other travel services is subject to confirmation by the respective service providers.
3. Quotations and Prices
Quotations provided by Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa are based on the services, number of travellers, dates and requirements specified at the time of quotation.
Prices may change before confirmation if there are changes in supplier rates, accommodation availability, transportation costs, park fees, taxes, exchange rates or other applicable charges.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a quotation does not guarantee availability until the booking has been confirmed.
4. Deposits and Payments
A deposit may be required to secure a booking. The required deposit percentage will be communicated to the client at the time of booking.
Unless a different payment schedule has been agreed in writing, the remaining balance should be paid before the commencement of the booked travel services.
Certain accommodation providers, airlines, activities or other suppliers may require different payment deadlines. Where applicable, these requirements will be communicated to the client.
5. Payment Methods
Payment methods available to the client will be communicated during the booking process.
Where a third-party payment provider or financial institution is used, additional terms and fees imposed by that provider may apply.
6. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellation requests should be submitted to Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa in writing as soon as possible.
Cancellation charges may apply depending on the date of cancellation, the services booked and the cancellation policies of the relevant suppliers.
Where a supplier has a stricter cancellation policy, the supplier's terms may determine the amount that can be refunded.
7. Cancellation or Changes by Oceanbaby
Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa may need to modify, reschedule or cancel part of a travel arrangement due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, road conditions, supplier changes, operational issues, safety concerns, political instability or other unforeseen events.
Where a change is necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative or communicate available options to the client.
8. Itinerary Changes
Travel itineraries may occasionally need to be adjusted due to weather, traffic, road conditions, attraction operating requirements, wildlife conditions, supplier availability or other circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to preserve the main experiences included in the confirmed itinerary whenever possible.
9. Accommodation
Accommodation is subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant property.
Room types, meal plans, check-in times, check-out times and hotel policies are subject to the conditions of the accommodation provider.
If a confirmed property becomes unavailable, Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa may arrange a suitable alternative where reasonably possible.
10. Transportation
Transportation services are subject to vehicle availability, road conditions, traffic, weather and other operational circumstances.
Clients are expected to follow reasonable instructions from drivers and guides relating to safety during transportation.
11. Park Entry Fees and Attraction Charges
National park fees, conservation fees, attraction entrance fees and other government or authority charges may be subject to change.
Where such fees are included in a quotation, the quotation will normally be based on the applicable rates known at the time of preparation.
12. Passports, Visas and Travel Documents
International travellers are responsible for ensuring that they possess valid passports, visas, permits, travel insurance and other documents required for their journey.
Entry requirements may vary depending on nationality, destination and travel circumstances.
Clients should verify applicable requirements with the relevant embassy, immigration authority or official government source before travelling.
13. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that international and domestic travellers obtain appropriate travel insurance before travelling.
Depending on the trip, appropriate insurance may include medical coverage, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, baggage loss and travel interruption protection.
14. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to their booking and for informing Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa of any important requirements or limitations before travel.
Clients are also expected to behave responsibly and follow reasonable safety instructions provided by guides, drivers, accommodation providers and activity operators.
15. Health and Safety
Travellers should consider their personal health, fitness and medical needs before participating in travel activities.
Certain activities may involve physical activity, outdoor environments, water, wildlife, uneven terrain or other inherent risks.
Clients should inform us in advance of relevant requirements that may affect the safe provision of their travel services.
16. Wildlife and Outdoor Activities
Safari and outdoor activities involve natural environments where wildlife and environmental conditions cannot always be predicted or controlled.
Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, and routes or activities may be adjusted where necessary for safety or conservation reasons.
17. Third-Party Service Providers
Some services arranged by Oceanbaby Tours & Travel East Africa may be provided by independent third parties, including hotels, airlines, transport companies, activity operators, guides, boat operators and other suppliers.
